7 Reasons to Love Wallpaper
It starts out innocently enough. A single glance. The attraction is inexplicable but before you know it, you’re ordering rolls and rolls of the stuff. How it’s going to turn out is anyone’s guess, but you’re willing to give love
a chance.
Okay, maybe this only happens to us in the industry, but the Wallcoverings Association has 7 reasons for you to fall in love with wallpaper:

1. Eye Candy
Wallpapers strut their stuff these days. Pumped up scale has been the trend, but now patterns take a walk on the wild side in a thicket of lush, dense designs like Cut Paper and Chestnut from Thibaut. |

2. Touch Me Textures
Wallpaper is masterful at wowing with textures that mimic anything from fine fabrics to exotic skins. But it’s not always a matter of sleight of hand. Surface attraction runs deep when wallpaper is infused with sand grains, crystal glass beads or real leaves with a magical gossamer translucency that only nature can provide. |

3. All Curves
Circles are edging into stripes-worthy popularity and fast becoming the darling of design. The motif’s versatility shines in bold and retro modern patterns, artful hand-drawn scrawls and medallions weathered with Old-World charm. If you want your stripes and circles too, there are patterns aplenty that unite both. |

4. Sexy Grasscloths
The lure of the exotic has always been there, but today’s grasscloths really deliver on that promise. Sumptuous styles shimmer with metallic gold, silver and copper; or are woven on richly-hued papers; or have designs printed onto its textured surface. |

5. The Big Easy
At last, wallpaper is easy to hang and even easier to remove thanks to “non-wovens,” an eco-friendly product made of natural and synthetic fibers found in tea bags and coffee filters. Most wallpaper companies have begun to incorporate nonwovens into their collections but Chesapeake, the undisputed champion of this revolutionary product, produces all its patterns on non-woven substrate, calling it Easy Walls. They’ve gone a step better by creating Easy-Match, which takes the guesswork out of lining a pattern at a seam. |

6. Unleash Your Inner Matisse
Matisse once said, “I would like to recapture that freshness of vision which is characteristic of extreme youth when all the world is new to it.” Peel-and-Stick wall decor holds many charms for kids, but Brewster’s WallPops lets adults in on the fun. Its series of Dots, Blox and Stripes in 12 eye-popping solid colors and 8 designs can be mixed and matched to create unique wall art. One couple became so enamored that they Wallpopped five rooms in their house (spent nearly 2 grand in the process) and proudly sent Brewster images of their artistry. |

7. Romantic Getaways
Dinner for two at a Paris bistro… a stroll through an ancient seaside village – wherever your heart desires, photo-realistic, life-size digital murals can take you there. No passport required. |
